On Tuesday October 6th at 5:00 p.m. E.S.T. we experienced an electrical problem within our datacenter which affected our battery backup systems. The electrical problem caused our battery backup units to go offline causing some service outages. The technical reason for this issue was Hz out of range for the battery systems on generator power. We are immediately taking corrective actions in order to make sure that this type of issue does not occur again. We apologize for the inconvenience this caused for some customers.
On September 27th Sectorlink migrated domain registration services to a new system. At this time e-mails were sent out to all domain registration customers. Passwords had to be reset due to the new system requirements. This change also brings lower domain registration and renewal prices.
