2. Full Rack Colocation Space
Of course, if you are into some serious server business, full rack colocation space may be the best option for you. Not everyone needs such an extensive setup, but if you need a lot of space to protect several servers at once, then this is the setup that will benefit you the most. As the name suggests, this setup allows your servers to take up an entire rack of space.
While this is one of the most expensive options out there, you can get up to 60 IP addresses along with 20 AMPs of power. This is one of the most advanced colocation options on the market, so it is certainly something to consider if you need a setup with plenty of power and security (as long as you have the budget for it, of course).
3. 4U Colocation Space
If you want something that is not too extensive but not too simple, then a 4U colocation space may be just what you need. With this setup, you can take your 4U colocation server and put it safely on a single rack in a very secure colocation facility. This setup comes with several IP addresses, sometimes as many as 5, and it also has unmetered incoming bandwidth.
This is not to mention that it is still quite affordable even though it is several steps up from a simple tower server colocation.
